In construction, the portfolio is the sales pitch.

Nobody hires a builder from a description. They hire from evidence — a bathroom that looks like the one they want, a renovation on a house like theirs, a finish that suggests care. Priherma had years of exactly that evidence and no way to show it beyond passing a phone across a table.

The region added a second problem. Murcia has a substantial international property market — British, Northern European and other buyers renovating second homes. Those clients pay well, plan ahead, and search in English. A Spanish-only presence was invisible to a whole category of the firm's best-value work.

And the practical constraint: any solution requiring the owner to sit at a computer and manage a website would be abandoned within a month. Photographs arrive from a site, on a phone, at the end of a long day.

A portfolio that grows without being maintained.

  • Project-led structure. The site is organised around completed work — categorised by type, presented at a size where craftsmanship is actually visible rather than as thumbnails.
  • A genuine second language. Not a translate widget. Spanish and English are equal versions driven from the same content, so an English-speaking visitor gets a site written for them, not a machine rendering of someone else's.
  • Gallery as a data file. Project imagery is defined in structured content rather than hard-coded into pages, so adding a finished job is a data change — not a redesign.
  • Services stated plainly. New builds, full refurbishments, bathrooms, interiors, restoration — named the way a client would search for them, in both languages.
  • Direct contact, no barrier. Enquiry routes that suit how this trade actually communicates, with the phone treated as a first-class option rather than a fallback.

Content separated from presentation, from day one.

The internationalisation layer keeps every piece of copy in structured content files with a language key, and the gallery keeps a separate manifest per language. The page templates hold no words at all.

  • Adding a language is data, not development. If the firm later wants German or French for the same second-home market, it's a new content file — the build never changes.
  • Photography treated as the product. Images sized and compressed for real connections, because a portfolio that loads slowly on a phone is a portfolio nobody scrolls to the end of.
  • An admin route for updates. Documented, deliberately simple, and designed so new work can be added without the owner learning a content management system.
  • Static and edge-hosted. Fast for both a local visitor in Murcia and a prospective client browsing from northern Europe.
  • React
  • Component architecture
  • JSON content model
  • Custom i18n
  • Image optimisation
  • Static hosting

Fifteen years of finished work, finally doing sales.

A builder's completed projects are an asset that most builders never capitalise. Structuring them is often the highest-return work available.

  • Credibility before the first call — a client arrives already convinced by the work rather than needing to be persuaded of it.
  • A second market opened — English-language visibility reaches international property buyers who were previously unreachable.
  • Better-qualified enquiries — people who have seen the standard and the specialisms self-select before making contact.
  • An asset that compounds — every completed job adds to the portfolio, so the site strengthens with time instead of dating.
  • Expansion built in — a third or fourth language is a content decision, available whenever the business wants it.
